Perranporth Carnival 2023
This year Perranporth held the carnival event- the first in 4 years, so everyone was very excited to join in and celebrate this event
This was a great opportunity for floralfancies to enter into the carnival , with moving from the retail premises back in november , it was a chance to thank my customers for still supporting the business now that i work from home, and what an event it was! the weather was absolutley against us to the piont the carnival commitee nearly cancelled it hours before, the rain was lashing down all day long, but the people of perranporth spoke and it went ahead, I entered with my daughter Pixie , she was groot and i was in a outfit i created covered in fresh flowers, with a decorated trolley so i can pull pixie along, we named ourselves ‘Gardens of the galaxy’, we only went and won ! We won 1st best dressed , 2nd in trade/loacl business float and 2nd in decorated cycle-pram, it was such a surprise ,we was extremely happy ,especially as the weather was against us and some of pixie’s outfit broke in the pouring rain,
